What is Knowyio?
AI Flashcard Knowyio is a web app that turns notes and PDFs into editable digital flashcards. Learners can review the draft, save a deck, then practise it with flip cards, written recall, quizzes and spaced review. Knowyio also provides curated curriculum collections and study guides.
1. Name the exam you are preparing for
Use a ready-made curriculum collection, or enter any school, university, medical, professional, driving or language exam yourself.
2. Add a source you trust
Paste notes, upload a PDF or use an official study guide. Knowyio creates questions from the material you provide instead of guessing what belongs in your exam.
3. Attempt before revealing
Read the question and answer it from memory. The effort of retrieval is the useful part—not simply rereading the answer.
4. Review, verify and test again
Prioritise weak cards, check important answers against official sources, and return over multiple sessions. Future Knowyio practice modes can use the same deck material for quizzes and AI-led assessment.
What Knowyio is—and is not
Knowyio is an independent study tool, not an exam board, school or awarding body. Ready-made collections help learners navigate a curriculum, but the current syllabus and official provider guidance remain the final authority. AI-generated cards are private by default and editable because the source or generated answer may need correction.
